My friend bought us this when she came back from Philippine. She is a Philippino. It’s called bread pan. There are 3 different types: Cheese and Onion, buttered toast and toasted garlic, as you can see from the below photos.

All 3 flavor are nice! Once you start, you can’t stop! That is all what I can say about this snack!

Want to have a try? Don’t forget to ask from anyone who go to Philippine to get some for you. 🙂

I’m not a Nasi Kandar fan. I seldom have it. The other day, I think of having it. I was bored on other food. My Indian friend went out for lunch and help me to buy it. I asked them to go Kayu and get for me the Nasi Kandar. Kayu Nasi Kandar is the best Nasi Kandar I have so far. Actually, I just have it twice! 🙂

dsc00453.JPG

I only ordered a chicken and lady fingers. It costs me 5.40. The chicken in the Nasi Kandar was quite a big portion, is a quarter chicken to me. What is so special about Kayu Nasi Kandar? It’s the spices powder. Remember to ask for that when you have the Nasi Kandar in Kayu!

dsc00454.JPG

Overall, Kayu Nasi Kandar is a must try food. It’s recommended!

I went to Kampung Jawa again this morning for breakfast. I didn’t order Wantan Mee since I have it too many times recently. My friend ordered Curry Mee. I don’t know what to order and I just followed.

dsc00477.JPG

The Curry Mee was not bad. I like the “tao pok” and the so call “pig’s blood”. This is the first time I ordered Curry Mee in that coffee shop. I’m sure I will order this Curry Mee again in the near future.

I posted the Pork Rib King Rice in my previous post. This one is almost the same, the difference is just the rice. It’s fried rice and not the normal rice.

dsc00391.JPG

dsc00390.JPG

However, this pork rib king is nicer than the one I bought in Sungai Ara. It’s cheaper too. I just like it.

I asked Akira to help me buy the Ipoh kaya puff few weeks back. I saw it from his blog and it seems very nice. He promised to get the kaya puff for me. After waiting for 2 weeks, finally his friend managed to buy it for us. I need to go get it from him.

I went to Gurney Plaza to meet Akira. He was there because he was one of the committee member for the Leo Idol competition. I found him and he passed me a box of kaya puff. Akira was very kind and said he will treat me.

dsc00457.JPG

The kaya puff was very nice! I like it very much. It tastes nicer if you put it into the oven before you eat it. Akira keeps reminding me to put the kaya puff into the oven for 1 minute, if more than 1 minute, it will be not nice. He repeated for 2 times! Haha, maybe he thought I will surely forgot about it. But, after eating the kaya puff, you need to drink more water, the kaya is a bit sweet.

dsc00458.JPG

Akira, thanks so much! I treat you next time, OK?

I went to Sunshine Market during the lunch time. Every time when I’m there, I will order either fried rice or chicken rice. But on that day, I didn’t think of having both of them. I’m tired of having fried rice and chicken rice almost every time I pay a visit there. I think of eating rice so I ordered the Indian food instead.

dsc00441.JPG

The Indian food is actually the Indian economic rice. I only choose two dishes, chicken and potato. The food was not bad and the curry was nice. For Indian food, normally it will be spicy. I like spicy so I will have quite a lot of curry for the rice.

dsc00440.JPG

The rice looks nice? However, I think Banana Leave Indian Food will be nicer than this stall. I didn’t take any photo during my last visit. I will try to take it next time I go. Who wants to go with me? Hehehe. 🙂

I like Pulut Inti since small. I still remember, when I was small, the Pulut Inti is packed with the banana leaf. There will be a small banana leaf on top of the glutinous rice, to put the coconut. Most of the glutinous rice will be in purple blue, some of them will be white.

dsc00443.JPG

The one I bought was not using the banana leaf anymore. They use plastic bag instead. The portion is bigger if compare to the one last time.

Do you like Pulut Inti like me? When is the last time you have it? Think of having it now? Go buy and enjoy! 🙂

I think of having Bah Kut Teh on one of my night shift. Yes, night shift again. Night shift can really make me fat. I eat quite a lot during night shift.

I don’t want to go alone, so I called my friend up. He was OK to follow me. I reached there around 1am in the midnight. My friend said he was full and doesn’t want to eat. I just ordered the one only for one person.

dsc00403.JPG

I felt it was “chu bi” when the food came. It was a very small pot. I ordered the yam rice. 🙂

dsc00404.JPG

Overall, the Bah Kut Teh is nice. I like it. I only went there for few times, all during the night shift. There are still many best Bah Jut Teh in town. I will try it in the future and upload it here.

During one of my night shift, on the way back home, I think of having oyster porridge for breakfast. I turned into Kampung Jawa but the stall was not open. On the way, I turned into Jalan Tengah, think of getting some other food. To my surprise, the Hokkien Mee stall is selling the Oyster Porridge as well.

dsc00413.JPG

dsc00414.JPG

The seller told me the “you char kuey” was not reached, asked me is it OK without it. I like “you char kuey” but I told him it’s OK, and asked him to give me more on other stuff. It’s good to have oyster porridge if you haven’t had it for a long time.

I’m not really a laksa fan. I will have it occasionally.

Last week, my friend came and asked me to have the laksa with him. The laksa stall is located at the road side of Sungai Ara, just near my place. Although it’s so near, I never try it before.

The stall almost close when we reached there. We were on time. The laksa is just ok to me, not really good and not really bad. Maybe I’m not good at tasting the laksa. If for wantan mee, I will definitely tell you which one is good and which one is bad. Haha.

dsc00389.JPG

dsc00388.JPG

Maybe you can just try out next time when you pass through Sungai Ara. Maybe you will like it.

I like dessert. I like all of them. There is one stall near my old house is selling the dessert everyday except Sunday, if I’m not mistaken. Besides dessert, there are kuih, fried noodle and fried mee hoon.

dsc00360.JPG

I bought Ang Dao Th’ng and I saw Kuih Talam there! Oh my, Kuih Talam, my favourite! Without thinking much, I bought it. Hahaha.

dsc00361.JPG

dsc00366.JPG

Who knows where can get delicious Kuih Talam? Some of them are not nice at all. Just tell me where to get the nice one will do. I want to go try them out.

dsc00381.JPG

It tastes good. Yummy.

There is another coffee shop that selling the Pork Rib King Fried Rice which is very nice. It’s at Pekaka, Sungai Dua. I will try to have it and take a photo let you see in future.

Remember the Apollo Chocolate Wafer? Oh, I almost forget about this until I saw it in my mum’s friend’s house. I have the chance to eat it. It brings back my memory when I was small. Normally during the children’s day, we will get one packet of snack. Among them, Apollo Chocolate Wafer will be one of them.

dsc00370.JPG

Oh~~~~~ I miss it so much!

Yesterday was the day for another 1K Tuesday. As usual, I was not able to grab any of them. I have the chance for the 500 post. I manage to click and enter the code, and yet, not able to get it.

My friend was lucky all the time. She manage to grab twice during the 1K Tuesday. I always asked her why she was so lucky. She said it’s her hard work. I’m also work hard what, why I cannot get it? I have no idea.

I think I just don’t have the luck for the 1K Tuesday.

Kacang gave me this when she was here. It’s so sweet for her to bring me some Japanese snack. Although we can get the Japanese snack in the mall, it’s different because it was brought from Japan!

dsc00222.JPG

I like the snack very much. Thanks Kacang! I hope I can visit Japan one day and eat there!
