Every time I drive through Cecil Street (7 diao lor, 7th Street), I think of parking my car and have some food there. However, I didn’t stop and continue my driving.

Last Saturday, I went out with my friends. She is going to NZ soon. We went to RedBox. I will post the food we have in RedBox in a later post. We went to watch Vantage Point after the karaoke session. I will write the movie review in another blog.

After the singing and movie, we suppose to go back. My friend fetch me. On the way back, my friend think of eating the Char Koay Teow. I suggested Cecil Street since it’s on the way.

We manage to find a parking place and have our food there. I don’t know what to order, there are so many stalls and some of them were already closed. Finally I ordered Hokkien Mee and Popiah. I also bought my favourite kuih: Kuih Talam. The photo of Kuih Talam was not nice, I’m not going to post it.

The Hokkien Mee was so so. Not really nice. It costs 2.20, cheap! I hope I can try other food next time.

Agreed that site very hard to find car park, next time you go there you can try the “Lam Mee”, “curry mee” behind one it only open around 4pm and will finish b4 6pm the another one in front one not nice, “jawa mee”, “duck koay teow soup” this one very famous and need to wait quite long I just hate their service :P, the kuih also not bad there are two stalls must try the one in front of the ice-kacang stall. The ice-kacang and chendo also yummy.
