I have lunch in Gurney Plaza after watching the movie Forbidden Kingdom on April 18. I bring my mum along. 🙂
I don’t know what to have for lunch. Chopper Board is just 1 or 2 floors below the cinema, so we just have the lunch there.
I ordered the Black Pepper Chicken Rice Set and my mum asked for Spicy Bake Chicken Rice Set. The set is come with the ginseng drink, either cold or hot. we asked for hot.
The food was OK, reached the average level. The black pepper is quite hot and spicy, but it was just nice. I’m not sure about the spicy bake chicken. I didn’t try it.
Chopper Board has a few branches in Penang: Bukit Jambul, Queensbay, Tesco and Gurney.

Joze, I seldom have the chopper soup.
Lingzie, yes, not that expensive. Consider economical if compare to other restaurant.
Kevin, you want the movie or you want to food?
Penangtuapui, yes agree with you, especially restaurant. They need to have some improvement to have more customers.
Forever28, per set is around RM5.80 including drink.
