Have you tried any good Hokkien Mee or also known as Prawn Noodle in Singapore? If you are yet to find one, let me recommend this best Penang Hokkien Mee to you, that you can find in Singapore Bukit Panjang area.

This Penang Prawn Noodle stall is operated by my friend, who lives in Singapore. This is the first and the best Hokkien Mee I have tasted in Singapore so far.

This is the soup version.

There is a dry version as well. According to my friend, Singaporean likes the dry version more.

I tried both and I still prefer the soup base. Both of them are good. If you want to try them out, let me know, I will let you know how to get them.

    Hi Allen,

i’ve been looking for good Penang Hokkien Mee in Singapore. My wife is Penangnite and we recently moved back to Singapore and so far the places we have tried have not been so good.

It’s got a lot to do with the chilli that they use in the soup. Some places either have it too bland (not spicy enough) or too water.

Would really appreciate if you can tell me how to get to your friend’s place. 😀
