| My household stuffs damaged easily. Some of them, after using for few years or even few months, will malfunction and need to change a new one. My sister always asked why the stuffs here are so easily to damage if compare to hers. I think it is due to the humidity in this country. It will be nice to have a dehumidifier at home to reduce the moisture inside the house. I am not sure will it be helping much, at least, better than not to have one, I personally think so.

A dehumidifier will certainly help. Since you live in an area with high humidity, you should get one of the larger models. They tend to be more efficient than smaller ones. They also have larger collection tanks to reduce the frequency of empying to once a day or so. The draw back of course is they cost more.
