It is always a hard decision on buying gifts for my mom. I will not buy her necklace or earring as she seldom wear them. For me, it will be better to buy her gifts that she can use it most of the time, like shoes or handbag. However, the great gifts for mom should be clothes. I changed my car recently. I sold my old car away for good sake. The old car consumes a lot of petrol. I sold it for few thousands and got a new one. I never claim any insurance for my old car, that is why I can have a discount on the insurance. At that time when I was buying the car, I needed to pay the full amount first.
