Microphone is very important for the stage performer. Some of the singers will have their own microphone. I remember A Mei (Taiwan Pop Female Singer) has her own microphone as well. In one of the talk show, she brought the mic along and the host tested on it. According to the host, it doesn’t need much effort to sing, the mic will do its part and the outcome is very good. For other singers, I am not sure how they select their microphone, but telefunken m80 is one of the good microphone for both stage and studio and featuring a wider frequency response and higher SPL capabilities.
