Taken this at Home Cafe at D Piaza. Home Cafe is like the Old Town style. The food there are almost the same.

We have waited for some time before the food is served. It is quite pack during the lunch time. The Nasi Lemak is just a normal one, not so special about it. The Chicken meat is very soft. Overall, it is an alternative place for lunch if you already out of idea on where to go.

It has been a while since I have the Ban Chien Kuih. Last few weeks, I went to the Terengganu Road market for breakfast. While waiting for the main breakfast, I went to buy the Ban Chien Kuih.

I always like to have it with sweet corn. This Ban Chien Kuih was a bit thick but still very yummy! See, quite a lot of sweet corn.

It costs RM1.10 each. I ate all 2 of them. 😀

Friend brought this back from Taiwan and gave it to me. The yellow packaging is the potato biscuit while the purple one is yam.

Both of them taste the same. If you just eat without looking at the packaging, you will not know which is which. Overall, just a normal biscuit, not bad. I am yet to go Taiwan, I wish to go there one day to try all the snacks by myself.

I thought of eating Tuna sandwich the other day. With just Tuna and bread, it seems to be a bit boring. So, I decided to make a mix salad for the sandwich. I chopped the salad and mixed with eggs and tuna. I put some olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Of course, add a little bit of black pepper for flavoring.

It turned out to be quite good. You can see it from the photo above. Spread it on the bread and mix tuna egg salad sandwich is ready to be eaten.

Normally I will just eat the cereal with milk. But that day, I got a banana so decided to add it into my cereal.

It is always nice to have banana in the cereal. If you don’t like banana, you can actually add other ingredients like raisins or strawberries.

Another version of homemade salad from me. This time, I bought the chicken fillet from the store and cook them, put them together with the eggs into the salad. I sprinkle the black pepper on top, apart from the normal dressing olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

After mixing it up, most of the chicken goes into the bottom of the bowl.

It is nice to have salad once a week during the weekend. It is the easiest meal to prepare and the main thing is, it is good for health.

Friend recommended this months back. From that day onwards, every time we dine in Sushi King, we will order this without any hesitation. I will ask for no mayonnaise though.

We tried this in Queensbay Mall and Egate outlet. Queensbay Mall Sushi King will come with more Salmon if compare to the one from Egate. If you never try this before, remember to order this next time you go to Sushi King. It is a nice choice after all.

My friend mentioned about this Satay Rice for few times before we actually go and try it during lunch time. The restaurant is located at Jalan Tengah there.

I ordered the Tomato Rice Set which comes with 3 sticks of Black Pepper Satay. I exchanged 2 sticks with my friends so that I can try out the Original and Tandoori flavor. To me, the satay is nice. But I still prefer those normal one that come with the satay sauce. This satay restaurant does provide the satay sauce too, just a very small portion. If you want to have extra sauce, you will need to pay.

I have this Taiwanese Minced Meat Rice at the Sri Weld Food Court. It is not like what I expected. I ordered it just for the sake of the meat floss.

It is just a very normal rice, not so special about it. Those from the Taiwanese restaurant is much better. Now I have tried it and I don’t think I will order again if I go there in future. It’s better to try other food there instead.

Another movie day in Queensbay Mall, followed by lunch at Kim Gary (Not again?!). This time, I ordered the Unagi Stone Rice. Initially, I ordered this because my friend has the birthday voucher for 50% off on the total bill. But it turn out that I need to pay full price since the voucher is only usable 1 week before n after the birth date.

At the price of RM20+, it is not really worth it. It only has a not so big piece of Unagi, Kimchi, Enoki Mushroom, Green Peas and Egg. If it is not because of the voucher thingy, I will not order this in the first place.

Kim Gary has become the choice for lunch or dinner after a movie in Queensbay Mall. For lunch, there are a lot of lunch set to choose from. For dinner, only grill set is the one. If not, you will need to order the ala carte instead.

I ordered this the other day. I forgot the set name. It has pork, chicken, ham, sausage and egg. You can choose to have spaghetti or rice. I chose rice. The food is normal, nothing to shout about.

It is not easy to find okonomiyaki in Penang. I tried few of them, all not really good if compare to those I have in US or even Hong Kong. Recently, my friend told me there is one Japanese restaurant which serves the best okonomiyaki she can find in Penang. I went to try it and it was good.

If you are wondering which restaurant is that? It is Kiss a Koyotei, located in Hutton Lane. If you are into okonomiyaki like I do, you must go and try it out. It will not disappoint you.

Recently, I will make myself a salad for dinner during the weekend. It is good to have salad when I cannot think of what to have for dinner. I bought the mixed lettuce from the supermarket, including the cherry tomato.

This round, I have it with tuna and eggs. With olive oil, balsamic vinegar and black pepper as dressing, this tuna salad just taste yummy!

Went to Portofino Western Cuisine by using the everyday coupon deal. Very disappointed with the food and service.

Is this look like a BBQ Chicken Spaghetti? It looks like a Fried Spaghetti to me. Taste wise, I think I can cook better than this. My friend even said this is a Mee Goreng rather than Spaghetti. For the service, we waited for more than 1 hour just to get the main course. Furthermore, from our observation, our dinner is cooked at a different kitchen. For those people who are not using the coupon, it is cooked at another kitchen in front.

Overall, this is one of the worse restaurant I have been to. Bad Food + Bad Service = Banned List.

I ordered the Braised Beef Ra Men from Dragon-i during the lunch time. I was regret for ordering this after seeing it.

The beef is oily. You see, there was a chunk of “fat” inside the bowl and not the meat. Taste wise, not really that good as well. The beef taste was a bit over. I will never order this again. Next time, better to be safe by ordering other food from the menu.
