After having the Carbonara from Sweet Forest, I think of cooking it myself. I went online, search for the recipe and bought all the ingredients needed.

However, maybe this is the first time I tried to cook the sauce, it turned out not really good. The sauce it too thick. Besides, I don’t have ham or bacon, I only have the white button mushroom. A lot of improvement is needed.

It is quite worth if you are a Sakae member and you have the calendar. The Blue Plate Buy 1 Free 1 is for the month of December 2012. I managed to use it before 2012 ends.

Blue plate costs RM7.99 each. With the buy 1 free 1, I only pay RM7.99 for 2 plates! Nice! The sushi is really nice, love them so much!

James Foo is famous with its Cordon Bleu. I don’t need to think much on what to order when I know I am going to James Foo for dinner.

The normal Cordon Bleu is not coming with the sauce. The sauce is specially request when the order is made. I prefer to have some sauce, if not it will be too dry. There are lots of ham and cheese inside. It’s really tasty and I love it very much. I will order the same thing again when I dine there next time.

The Carbonara from Winter Warmers is not really good. To me, it is below average. The taste of the sauce is almost same as the one I cooked myself.

I prefer it has more ham and chicken. The ingredients are too less. Overall, I don’t like it. I will not order this item anymore in future.

I made Tuna Cheese Toast the other day. I have some Tuna left over and I don’t want just eat it with bread. So, I come out with this idea since I have bread and shredded cheese.

I should have put more cheese on top. Anyhow, it turn out to be good.

I have another option in future if I cannot think of anything to eat. 🙂

Mix Fruit Tea is a MUST order drink when you go to Winter Warmers.

It has few slices of apple, lemon and one cherry. The Mix Fruit Tea is very refreshing. Like it very much!

First time go to Little Cottage in Burma Road for lunch. After looking through the set lunch menu, I decided to order the Minute Ribeye Steak with Black Pepper Sauce. I asked for medium well. It is a 5 course set lunch, inclusive of butter roll, soup of the day, dessert and coffee/tea.

The Ribeye is nice. However, I think MSG is added as I felt thirsty after the lunch. Overall, it is a nice place to dine and the food is good too.

I like Coconut Ice Cream. I went to have it in the Burmese Temple previously, but I am a bit disappointed. The Ice Cream has less coconut taste. Now, there is another place that you can get the Coconut Ice Cream in Penang – Love Locks.

Love Locks is located in Chulia Street, it is the corner unit. The road beside is Love Lane.

I like the Coconut Ice Cream here. You can taste the coconut. However, with all those toppings, the coconut taste will covered by the rest. Just some advice, try not to take those toppings which has a strong taste.

I went there twice. Dine there for the first time and take away for the second. I will go there for 3rd time if I went to that area. One drawback, it is not easy to get a parking spot there.

It’s time to bake the CNY Butter Cookies again. It’s just less than 3 weeks before CNY.

I spent the whole Saturday afternoon to bake this. It was so tiring. Luckily, I have my mum and aunt to help me out. I have few trays of butter cookies over bake, wasted! Anyhow, I think this will be the one and only time I bake the butter cookies for 2013.

I went to KFC when I have the voucher to use. I checked online the other day and found out that there is a new item from KFC. It is called the Double Down. What it is actually?

Double Down consists of 2 pieces of fried chicken meat, act like the burger bun. In between them, there are bacon, cheese and some sauce.

It is too salty. However, it tastes real good.

I will go again if I still have KFC voucher in future.

During the weekend, normally I will simply eat for lunch and dinner. I will just go out to buy the food. Sometimes, I totally cannot think of what to eat. When I am in that situation, I will cook instead. This time around, I tried on cooking the Tuna Spaghetti.

It is very simple. Not many ingredients needed, just Olive Oil, Tuna, Mixed Herb and Spaghetti. Once the spaghetti is cooked, put in Tuna, Olive Oil and Mixed Herb. Mix it up and it is ready to serve. Easy right?

I like it a lot. You can try this out too since it is very simple to cook.

I went to Sakae Sushi quite often recently. Citibank is having the buy 1 free 1 on all the pink plates, that’s why. Besides the sushi, I will order other side dishes when I feel I want to have more.

Grilled Squid with Terriyaki Sauce is one of the item from the menu that I will order. The squid is big and it is really nice to eat with the sauce. I will only order once in a while due to the cholesterol.

I ordered Tonkatsu Don from the Ichyo Japanese Restaurant. I have no idea what to order and just simply made the choice. It is a pork with egg rice.

It comes with a big portion and I am really full after eating it. The restaurant is very generous on the pork portion too, not only the rice. Overall, it is worth the price.

Cheesy Wedges is one of my favorite side dishes from KFC.

I know it is fattening with all the sauces on the potato wedges, but I just can resist it sometimes. It’s really so yummy and delicious! Try it and you will know I am telling you the truth!

Dessert Dessert Dessert….

YES, is Dessert time! Every time I went for a buffet, I will leave some room for dessert. If it is a Japanese Buffet, Green Tea Ice Cream will be a MUST.

If possible, I will take as many scoops as I want. :p
