I am totally no idea on what is Plantar Fasciitis when I first saw it. The very first thing I did was, I searched it through Wikipedia. Wikipedia is one of my sources to get information online. It never failed me. OK, back to Plantar Fasciitis.
From Wikipedia, Plantar fasciitis is a painful inflammatory condition of the foot caused by excessive wear to the plantar fascia that supports the arch or by biomechanical faults that cause abnormal pronation. The pain usually is felt on the underside of the heel, and is often most intense with the first steps of the day. It is commonly associated with long periods of weight bearing or sudden changes in weight bearing or activity.
If you are facing the above problem, one of the ways to relief the pain is trying the night splints. It can help to relief the pain by flexing the foot and toes overnight.
