It has been a long time since I went to the company cafe during my night shift. I need to go to another building since our building is not the production building. It’s not really near and not really far. I can walked there, it will take around 10 minutes. This time, I was not walking, my colleague fetched me there instead. We went together, at 12am, midnight!

There are a few choices for us to choose from: laksa, fried mee, fries, bread, and so on. I bought the fried mee and fries. The fried mee was not bad, comes with 4 prawns and some chicken. The fries are like the normal one.

Maybe I can go there more often during my night shift next time.

I ordered this for my dinner during one of my night shift. I was not able to go out and get the food by myself, I asked my colleague to get it for me from the mamak stall.

Maggi Goreng was a very simple food, I think everyone can cook it. What you need is just a pack no the instant noodle, some veg, egg, and some meat, if you like. You can add anything you want into it. I fried that before when I’m in Costa Rica. It’s yummy.

I think I will try to fried it some other day and show you how well I can do on this! 🙂

I’m on night shift this week. Previously, I will go back to old house if I was on night shift. But this week, I decided to go to my new house. If in old house, my mum was there, she will cook the lunch. In new house, no one will cook and I need to DIY. Most of the time, I will just go out and buy food.

On Thursday, after woke up, I went out and looked for food. There is one Indian stall that sell Nasi Lemak and all kind of kuih.

I bought 2 packets of Nasi Lemak (with ikan bilis and egg) and 2 curry puff. That will be my lunch.

The Nasi Lemak costs 1.00 per pack and curry puff 0.40 per piece. Nasi Lemak was nice but a bit salty. Curry Puff was normal.

My phone’s memory card is having some problem. Some of my photos cannot be read including some of the food photos. =.=”

Luckily, those food photos I can take it again since it’s not the expensive food. But, it’s really frustrated to know that the photos cannot be accessed anymore. I’m trying to run some software and I hope it can be recovered. If it’s not working, I think I have to say goodbye to those photos. There are 88 of them! Why 88? Chinese like 8 very much.

Anyway, do you guys have any solution on this? The error I got is: the file or folder is corrupted. Totally cannot view from the phone and cannot read from card reader.

Sigh…… >.<

I love chocolates. Sometimes I will control myself for not eating it. I’m scared I will get pimples. But some other time, I will not care so much and eat it. 🙂

I got a box of chocolates from TSP. I didn’t expect TSP will give me the chocolates from UK as a gift. In fact, he gave to all the people who attended the gathering. How nice!

dsc00223.JPG

dsc00224.JPG

The chocolates are bought from the Hotel Chocolates. It’s so nice, I’m not really want to eat it.

Thanks TSP!

We have a few places to go for lunch if we didn’t have it in the cafe. Jalan Tengah is one of them.

There are many coffee shops and food stalls there. You have the choice to choose what you want to eat. My friend and I chose The Nest Chicken Rice.

dsc00233.JPG

dsc00231.JPG

This was the 2nd time I have the chicken rice. It’s not the normal chicken rice that you think off. It suppose to name it fried chicken rice since all the chicken is fried. We stand there looking at the menu for more than 5 minutes and finally we ordered the chicken chop rice set. It comes with one fish fillet, 2 fried prawns, one egg or salad and fried chicken drumstick. It costs 5.90 per set.

dsc00235.JPG

The food was nice. It can be considered as an expensive lunch from what we normally eat. Anyway, you need to try this out if you never have it before. My friend said, we cannot have this kind of lunch everyday, if not we will “pokai”. Hahahaha, it’s true though.

* pokai means broke.

I went to RedBox last Saturday with friends. We went for the lunch session, 11am-2pm.

We reached there around 11am and we started to sing while waiting for others to come. There are 4 choices of lunch for you to choose from the menu: Jawa Mee, Fried Rice, Chicken Chop and Fish set. Jawa Mee and Fried Rice are 13++, Chicken Chop is 15++ and Fish set is 17++. The meal is including one drink.

After we ordered, we need to wait for quite a long time before they served us. The worse part is, after they brought us the lunch, there are no spoon and fork for us! We called them for the cutlery and again, we waited until our food become cold! BAD SERVICE!

Due to the food was cold, the taste was not that good anymore. Overall, it’s below expectation. Anyway, we were not going for the food, we went for the karaoke. No doubt, the sound system was good in RedBox.

Every time I drive through Cecil Street (7 diao lor, 7th Street), I think of parking my car and have some food there. However, I didn’t stop and continue my driving.

Last Saturday, I went out with my friends. She is going to NZ soon. We went to RedBox. I will post the food we have in RedBox in a later post. We went to watch Vantage Point after the karaoke session. I will write the movie review in another blog.

After the singing and movie, we suppose to go back. My friend fetch me. On the way back, my friend think of eating the Char Koay Teow. I suggested Cecil Street since it’s on the way.

We manage to find a parking place and have our food there. I don’t know what to order, there are so many stalls and some of them were already closed. Finally I ordered Hokkien Mee and Popiah. I also bought my favourite kuih: Kuih Talam. The photo of Kuih Talam was not nice, I’m not going to post it.

dsc00288.JPG

The Hokkien Mee was so so. Not really nice. It costs 2.20, cheap! I hope I can try other food next time.

I like Pringles. I went to Cold Storage the other day and saw the other type of Pringles that was not normally sell in the store. Of course, I took the photos on them. My friend said I’m crazy.

dsc00285.JPG

This special Pringles is not cheap, selling at 6.99 per can. I didn’t buy any of them, I’m not going to pay so much for a can of Pringles.

dsc00286.JPG

Do you like Pringles? Have you tried any of them in the photo? Let me know!

I have this Zinger Maxx Meal during one of my night shift. My friend wanted to have this, so I followed. It’s consider as my supper. It’s not good to have this kind of food in the middle of the night, but I’m hungry at that time. Furthermore, we don’t want to have mamak’s food. No choice.

We went to the KFC besides Sunshine Square. KFC and McDonalds are open 24 hours now. You can have them anytime you want. I ordered Zinger Maxx Meal while my friend ordered Snack Plate. Zinger Maxx Meal comes with 1 Zinger burger, 1 Cheezy Wedges and 1 soft drink.

dsc00202.JPG

dsc00199.JPG

Normally, if I didn’t order the chicken in KFC, I will take the Zinger burger. I just like it. Besides the burger, I also like the potato wedges and cheezy wedges. They are just yummy and finger licking good! 🙂

During my morning shift, normally I will have my breakfast in the cafeteria. Everyday, I need to see the same breakfast in the cafeteria, It’s so boring! Most of the time, I will stand there and don’t know what to have for my breakfast.

In the cafeteria, one of the stall is selling Roti Canai. Roti Canai’s price has increased from 60 cents to 80 cents or even 90 cents if you have it outside. In the cafeteria, the price is still 60 cents. If I order this, I will order 2! I will also ask for 2 plate of the curry as well.

dsc00221.JPG

The Roti Canai is not oily if compare to the outside. However, the taste is only so so, not really nice.

I like to go travel. I can see a lot of different stuffs and cultures from different country. Normally, if I go for a vacation, I would like to travel for free and easy. I can have all my time to go to the places I like. However, free and easy also has its bad part. You need to plan it very well. If not, you will waste a lot of time and cannot visit all the places you want to.

If you are lazy to plan, travel agent can help you out. TravelStoreUSA.com is one of them. They provide a lot of vacation destination including Holland America cruise line. Many cruise groups are available for you to choose from.

I think it’s time for you to plan your vacation now.

If you think of having a break, what can you think of?

My sister bought me some chocolates from Australia. Kit Kat is one of them. It’s a little bit special, strawberry flavour.

dsc00220.JPG

So coincidence, my friend gave me another Kit Kat, limited edition Cafe Latte Kit Kat.

dsc00229.JPG

I have tried the strawberry, nice! For the Cafe Latte, I’m not yet taste it. I think should be nice too!

Have a break, Have a Kit Kat!

I cannot believe that this blog is having a PR 3. Hoon is the one noticed and told me about it. I was not in front of my PC at that moment. I keep asking her is that true? She said yes. She has checked in 2 different sites and it’s a PR 3.

Oh my…… I’m so happy. Muacks!!!

Google, I love you so much!!!

Hopefully Google will not grab away my PR so soon. At least must leave it here for more than a month, deal?

Muacks Muacks Muacks!!!
