In many hospitals, doctors or surgeons who are going for an operation will need to wear the scrubs. It is because medical scrubs are design in the way that it is hard to collect dirt on the trousers, shirts or pants. In some wards, it is even extended out for the employees to wear it, and not only for the operation needs. Normally, those doctors or surgeons who appear in the TV series are wearing the blue one.
