This is the super hot item in the market now. I am so lucky to get one packet from my friend, so generous of her. She gave me one to try it out.

This is the worst pasta I had in my entire life. Even I cook it myself will be better.

I ordered the Spaghetti Walnut Pesto with Turkey Ham because I saw the menu. It looks yummy from the poster, right?

However, it is so disappointed when the waitress served the food. It came with a bento like box, as if it bought from a 7-11 store. Taste wise, totally tasteless!!! It looks more like a carbonara, don’t you think so? Furthermore, there is no walnut!!! My friend ordered the same and it came with walnut on top!

Please, don’t ever waste your money here. There are so many nice pasta restaurant out there with good quality food.

Chirashi is one of the item that I will order from a Japanese restaurant if they have it in the menu. For Sushi Tei Sashimi Chirashi, it only comes with 5 different slices in a small bowl with few slices of cucumber.

Will try other stuff from the menu when I dine there in future.

Fried Salmon Skin from Sushi Tei is super yummy! For the price of RM6.80, I think it’s worth the price as the portion is huge.

sushi tei fried salmon skin

Since it is fried, it is recommended to drink more water after eating this.

Gelato in Malaysia is not cheap. If not because of the Living Social deal, I will think twice before getting it. I managed to get a RM25 for RM50 Gelatomio voucher. You can redeem it from either Gurney or 1st Avenue. Of course, you will need to select the outlet before getting the voucher.

With the RM50 voucher, I can get a 1 Litre gelato. I only need to pay extra RM2. The normal price is RM52. In Actual, I just paid RM25+RM2=RM27. Maximum of 3 flavors can be chosen.

I always buy these during the Nine Emperor Gods Festival. It only sell during this period of the year. I bought it from the market this morning.

9 emperor snack

It is not cheap. With only 5 pieces, it costs RM2.40! I still remember it was only RM1.20 or less many years back. Haha. Anyhow, I still buy it. The bottom one is RM3. It has other types too, but I prefer the one I bought. 🙂

I bought the chicken breast from the market and used the oven to grill it. After washing the chicken breast with salt, I placed it on the aluminium foil, sprinkled some black pepper on top on both side and put into the preheat oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes.

Tada, here you go. Not bad though although only sprinkle with black pepper. I ate it with Nandos’ Peri Peri Sauce. Yummy!

It is a very simple meal. I think I can prepare it myself at home too. To me, it is not worth the price of RM15.90.

black pepper sausage spaggheti

Once is enough. Not going to order this anymore in future since there are still others which are good from the menu.

Trying to bake the Chocolate Cheese Brownie. It turns out, I over bake it. This is the first time I try this out. Previously, I managed to bake a few times of nice Chocolate Brownie. I thought it should be OK since it just added the cheese.

Before going to the oven. I swirl it too much I think. Anyway, I will bake this again next time for sure.

It’s not bad though.

Finally I managed to buy the mooncake from Ming Xiang Tai on the second attempt. It needs to be bought in twin pack. I chose the Flower Seed with Green Tea and Orange Paste Bean twin pack.

mingxiangtai mooncake

Both are nice. It is RM11.50 each. Since you only can buy it in twin pack, it costs RM23 per pack. However, if compare the price to others company mooncake, Ming Xiang Tai mooncake is selling at a reasonable price and furthermore, it is handmade and not machine made.

Friend bought this for me from Japan airport. I not yet taste it but I assume it should be good.

green tea kitkat

Not sure why the Kitkat company doesn’t want to have this in our local store? I think there are many people like green tea like me.

Have this Nyonya Seafood Rice in Ah Xian Nyonya Restaurant in Queensbay Mall.

nyonya seafood rice

The cracker is not crispy at all. It has become soggy. The sauce is a little bit salty but it is OK to eat with the rice. No idea why they make the rice is a square instead of a bowl shape.

It has been years since I bought the Mooncake. It has become more expensive over the years. Now, the cheapest also need RM10 per piece. I personally think this is too expensive. But this time, I bought it because I want to eat it and the most important thing is, it has a 25% off.

The box is nice.

mooncake

I bought the Green Tea, Pure Lotus, Shanghai Pure Louts with 1 Yolk and Precious Black.

moocake 1

I just tried the Green Tea. Not bad. The rest are still in the box. With the 25% off, I only paid around RM46 for 4, but still over RM10 per piece.

I don’t really like the onion rings from Marshall’s. In fact, I don’t really like their burger as well. They used too much of the sauce, same to the onion rings. They use the same sauce. The worst part is, I was like eating flour rather than onion.

onion ring

I don’t think I will go there again. There are many other that are better!
