It is not a bad choice after all if you choose Grilled Fish with Mushroom Sauce from Green Island Western Food. The portion is quite big and the taste is just as good as other restaurants.

I prefer the grilled if compare to the deep fried. I tried to avoid all those as it is not healthy in the very first place.

My friend is a vegetarian. I supposed to bring her to the Luk Yea Yan but it is not open. In the end, we went to Lily’s Vegetarian Kitchen instead. It is located at the same road as Luk Yea Yan. Previously, Luk Yea Yan is located at Macalister Road. Now, it moved to Madras Lane.

The Vegetarian Satay taste not bad, but I still prefer the one from Luk Yea Yan. The sauce is not bad too. You can give it a try, if you have not done so and Luk Yea Yan is closed.

Friend recommended this restaurant when we have no idea on what to eat during lunch time. After browsing through the menu, I decided to order the Pork Chop Ramen.

I prefer the pork chop to be served separately instead of putting them inside the soup. Anyhow, nothing to shout about. It is another choice for lunch after all.

Charcoal Burger is very special to me when I first saw it, especially the black bun.

How is the taste of the bun? I don’t think there is any taste. But with the grill chicken and cheese, it has become a perfect match. The burger with fries and salad costs RM7.90. This is the special price for the employees.

BJ Bakery House is famous with its cream puff. Besides, it also has some other nice stuff. Among them, fruit tart is one of the recommendation.

They are colorful, aren’t they? Before you eating it, you will be happy to see it with 3 different fruits on top, grape, peach and kiwi. I just like the color.

I ordered this for dinner after browsing through all the stalls in CF Food Court. I forgot the real name for this rice. I called it Taiwanese Chicken Rice. Haha.

With the price of RM4.50, you cannot ask for much. The chicken is very soft and tender though.

I ordered this Fish Ramen in Xuan Xin restaurant in Queensbay. I don’t feel of eating rice on that day. I just want something with soup and not spicy. Luckily I made a good choice.

The ramen is nice. I think it is because of the soup. The soup is really good. Although there are only a few slices of fish, they are fresh. I will order again if I go there again.

I like this salad very much. Every time I ordered this, I will ask for no mayonnaise. If you think salad cannot full your tummy, then you are very wrong. I feel full after eating this. It is good to eat salad and not always eating meat.

It costs RM24. Although the price is a bit high, it worth it.

I always order the Salmon belly rice when I dine in Sushi King. But today, I order Ika Curry instead. It comes with steamed rice served with deep fried squid tentacles, egg and Japanese curry sauce.

The curry sauce is too watery. My friend ordered the same food but she got hers earlier and the curry sauce is thicker. The deep fried squid tentacles are too hot, until my tongue get burned when I put it into my mouth. Overall, it is just OK to me. I still prefer they have the pork/chicken chop cutlet with curry.

I went to Sakae Sushi again because of 2 reasons. First, I am a Japanese food lover. Second, I have the Buy 1 Free 1 Chicken Teriyaki Rice coupon. 😀

To my surprise, the portion of the chicken is quite a lot. By finishing it and drinking the green tea, you will feel very full.

I am not really into Ika Sushi. I ordered it because of the RM1 promotion for Sakae member. Since it is only RM1 per plate, why not?

I am not sure why they need to put the sauce on top. I think it is the thousand island sauce. It seems like the Japanese restaurant in Malaysia like to put mayonnaise and other sauces on the sushi or the food.

Finally I went to try out the O’Briens Sandwich. I ordered the Chicken Tripledecker as it looks good from the menu.

Although it is a bit expensive, it is good! The chips that come with the sandwich are too less! I will definitely go again in the near future.

Another item from Sakae Sushi. I was still full when I dine there for lunch. I have no idea what to order beside the RM1 Soft Shell Crab Crepe. In the end, I order the Mango and Soft Shell Crab Sushi Roll. Yes, Soft Shell Crab once again. I ordered it because of the Mango.

Although it is only 8 pieces, I was too full after eating this.

I like it a lot. Again, because of the Mango. 🙂

I saw people are eating this when I was wondering what to order for dinner. Without thinking much, I went forward to the Mee Sotong stall and made my order. I bought it home.

It costs RM4. I thought it will be more when I saw the big portion of sotong put on top of the mee goreng. Overall, I like it. The spiciness is just nice for my taste.

I got this for RM1 in Sakae Sushi with the 2013 March calendar coupon. Normal price is RM6.99.

I think the last time I have the soft shell crab crepe is also during the promotion. It taste good. Like it. But I think it is too small portion, don’t you think so?
