Pad Thai is almost the same as the Penang Char Koay Teow but the koay teow is a bit thin and short. Anyhow, I still like it because it has the dried shrimps and peanuts will be sprinkled on top when it is served. It is hard to get Pad Thai in Penang through the hawker stall. I managed to find one in the coffee shop along Macalister Road, which the good wantan mee is selling.

I bought it back for dinner. I think I should have eaten it there. I am not sure is it due to too long time inside the box, it has a weird smell when I ate it. It has the chili flakes at one of the corner. I was regret to mix them up because it has become too spicy.

I would like to try it again for the second time. This time, I will eat it there on the spot.

Thailand is famous for the coconut ice cream. If you are in Penang and crave for that, no worry, you can have it in Penang, anytime you want.

Just head towards Lorong Burma, where the Sleeping Buddha Temple is located. Inside the compound, there is a stall selling it. It costs RM1 for the cone you see above. There are another option, which is in a cup instead of cone. Small cup costs RM1.50 and Big Cup is RM2.50. What is the difference? For the cone, you will only have once scoop and peanuts sprinkle on top. For cup, you will have a few scoops of the coconut ice cream, together with the corn, peanut and “Atap Ji”.

Taste wise, I am not really can taste the coconut flavor. It is just a so so to me. Not really satisfy with that.

Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken, another option for you beside the Curry Chicken Nasi Lemak. What is the different between 2 of them? Nothing much, just the curry chicken change to fried chicken.

I will try to avoid fried chicken when making the order. Of course I like fried food like others do. But I just need to control from taking them, once in a while is OK.

It will be nice if I have a friend who owns a log cabin. By looking at the photos online, there are really amazing since it is made by log. I am really curious on how it is built. It is not an easy task, as well as to decorate it. With log cabin decor, either a decorative item or furniture, from a wall socket to a dining table, can get them all with no issues at all.

Taken this at Home Cafe at D Piaza. Home Cafe is like the Old Town style. The food there are almost the same.

We have waited for some time before the food is served. It is quite pack during the lunch time. The Nasi Lemak is just a normal one, not so special about it. The Chicken meat is very soft. Overall, it is an alternative place for lunch if you already out of idea on where to go.

When I first bought the Wii, I played it everyday. But now, I seldom touch it, maybe few months only play for once. I bought Wii in the first place due to the motion game like Wii Sport and Wii Fit. They were very popular back then. Besides, there are some other games that I like: Grand Slam Tennis, fitness zumba, Legend Of Zelda:Twilight Princess, EA Active Sport, etc. With the PS3 and XBox with Kinect released, Wii has become less popular. Even some of the latest game that I really want to play: Grand Slam Tennis 2 is only available for PS3 and Xbox. Sad.

It has been a while since I have the Ban Chien Kuih. Last few weeks, I went to the Terengganu Road market for breakfast. While waiting for the main breakfast, I went to buy the Ban Chien Kuih.

I always like to have it with sweet corn. This Ban Chien Kuih was a bit thick but still very yummy! See, quite a lot of sweet corn.

It costs RM1.10 each. I ate all 2 of them. 😀

Friend brought this back from Taiwan and gave it to me. The yellow packaging is the potato biscuit while the purple one is yam.

Both of them taste the same. If you just eat without looking at the packaging, you will not know which is which. Overall, just a normal biscuit, not bad. I am yet to go Taiwan, I wish to go there one day to try all the snacks by myself.
